Dickens Mokaya is a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, member of the Engineers’ Board of Kenya and Institution of Engineers of Kenya. His focus is on power systems analysis, protection systems, automation, and distributed generation. He has extensive experience having worked at Schneider Electric Kenya and ARM Engineering on various high-profile projects across East Africa. He is also ABB certified having received trainings in Vasteras Sweden on PCM 600 Engineering, IEC 61850 Engineering for GOOSE and MMS integration with ABB and third-party devices, REC 670 Engineering, microSCADA Engineering. He is certified by Schneider Electric on Sepam, MiCOM, Powerlogic protection relays configuration and testing. He is also an expert in Schneider Electric SCADA systems on EPAS configuration, Saitel DP/DR and Powerlogic T300 configuration and testing. He is trained and certified in modelling and analysis of power systems on ETAP reflecting his expertise in advanced protection systems, automation, and high-voltage equipment commissioning.
